Qantas has opened a new domestic business lounge in Brisbane airport. The lounge, which seats more than three hundred and fifty people, is thirty percent larger than the previous precinct. Designed by renowned architecture firm Woods Bagot and inspired by the colour palette of the surrounding Queensland landscape, the size and design of the space isn’t the only thing that’s been updated

The lounge features a well-equipped ‘work zone’ with wireless printing, power outlets, Wi-Fi, shower suites and televisions with Foxtel. Those who prefer to relax and enjoy a meal or drink while in transit are invited to sample the faculty’s new eatery, The Cantina, which serves fresh Mexican dishes ranging from empanadas to roasted sweet corn and quesadillas. The lounge also has a barista onsite all day and boasts a full bar that stocks fine Australian wines, cocktails and craft beer.

The Brisbane Domestic Business Lounge is located on Level 1 of the Brisbane domestic terminal and is open seven days a week from one hour before the first Qantas departure. It is available to customers travelling in Business, Qantas Club members, Gold, Platinum and Platinum One Frequent Flyers and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald Members, as well as Emirates and China Eastern Platinum customers. Top tier Frequent Flyers can access the lounge via an exclusive check in area and Qantas are planning to extend this by launching an improved valet facility with direct terminal access in the future.
